WHEN WE MEET TOGETHER

Sundays at FBC

Family Service 10:30 – 12:00

Our Sunday family gathering is a contemporary worship service which includes all-age celebration, focused Bible teaching, and responsive sung worship. After 20mins all-age celebration, babies, children and youth head out for their own time. Ten minutes before our service concludes, the babies and children re-join the adult congregation for some further all-age celebration to conclude our time together.

Evening Events

We don’t currently have an evening service. Instead, we use Sunday nights for different types of gatherings including times of prayer, open worship nights, and teaching classes such as bible overview course. All Sunday evening activates are announced ahead of time by email and in our Events Diary. To join our mailing list, click below to get connected.

Ministries

Disciple-making and being family are at the heart of who we are. As well as Sundays we have other ministries that encourage spiritual growth, relationship and mission.

Growth Groups

Following Acts 20 v28 – ‘Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood’ – our Growth Groups are responsible for the spiritual discipleship, pastoral care, and mission of our church family. They meet regularly in various locations across Falkirk.

Mondays @ 1

Fancy a lovely lunch and hearing a good speaker? Are you recently retired and looking to make new friends? If yes, then this is the gathering for you. It meets once per month on a Monday at 1pm and is specifically for senior citizens and others who have retired. The two-hour meeting consists of a filling lunch, some singing and an inspiring speaker. On a semi-regular basis there are also trips arranged to different sites and attractions, which are very popular with the group. For more information, please contact Doug & Dot Smith via the Church Administrator.

Make and Cake

Are you a parent with a pre-school child? Would you like to join with other parents and get a break from parenting on your own? If yes, Make & Cake is for you! They meet every Thursday morning from 9:30 – 11:00am with creche provision to allow adults time to sit with one another (mainly mothers) and do arts and crafts while chatting. Refreshments are provided, including, of course, cake. For more information, please contact Susan Milne via the Church Administrator.

Renew Wellbeing

Everyone is welcome at our drop-in sessions which are held every Thursday between 1pm and 3pm in the Bainsford Hall on David’s Loan. This is a space where it is ok not to be ok. You will find a warm welcome, a cuppa, and snacks. You can also join in with crafts, board games, puzzles, and a friendly chat. There is an optional short meditation time. (We are unable to accommodate under 18s – sorry). For more information, please contact the Church Administrator.
