He is married to Sophia Ann and they have four children and ten grandchildren. Before going to Italy, David pastored churches in Scotland for 15 years, prior to which he worked in rehabilitation centres for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts. In his spare time he enjoys football and watching TV.

Kirsten started as our church Youth Worker in February 2020. After studying at Stirling University she worked as a Nanny in America before returning to Scotland to pursue Youth Work. She enjoys travelling, rock climbing, skiing and eating salt and vinegar crisps.

Church Leadership Team

Following Paul’s teaching to the Ephesians, FBC leaders seek to support others within the life of the church.

‘So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ’ (Eph 4:11-13).

FBC Growth Groups

Following Acts Chapter 20, our Growth Groups are responsible for spiritual discipleship, pastoral care, and mission within the lives of those who attend. They meet regularly in various locations across Falkirk.

‘Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood’ (Acts 20:28).
