Ann and David are working with BMS World Mission in Italy. Before going to Italy, David, a minister, worked as a social worker.
David and Ann first went to Italy in 1993 and lived in Perugia, concentrating on language study. In autumn 1994 they moved to Altamura where they were involved in church work as well as continuing their language learning.
In the summer of 1996, they moved to Barletta where David became pastor of the local church and was also responsible for co-ordinating the youth work in the regions of Puglia and Basilicata. In 2001 David also became the pastor of the church in Santeramo. In the autumn of 2009 they moved to a new ministry in Reggio Calabria.
The Church in Reggio Calabria is a blended Church, with a mix of both Italians and Philipinos, as well as a few individuals from different parts of the world. The services are conducted in Italian, with English overheads.
They have four grown-up children and seven grandchildren. They both like music (David plays the guitar) and swimming. David also enjoys football and Ann reading. Their home church is Falkirk Baptist Church.
